Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services

The Lutheran Church of Australia have signed an agreement with the Commonwealth government and are licensed by the Office of Early Childhood Education and Care to operate the Beenleigh Family Day Care service.  The QLECS Branch (Queensland Lutheran Early Childhood Services)  are the Approved Provider to support, guide and monitor the ongoing management of the service. They offer the service support in financial organization, human resource requirements and Workplace Health and Safety , while delegating the management of the service to the Bethesda Lutheran Church Governance Committee.

The Beenleigh Family Day Care Service Policies states that the Service Governance Committee will comprise of:

• A Chairman and four members of the Church appointed at a constituted meeting of the Bethesda Lutheran Church, Beenleigh.
• A  parent user of the service and a community member elected at the annual general meeting of the service
• The Managing Cordinator and the Bethesda Chuch Pastor act as advisors to the Governance Committee.
